This Volume 5, devoted to estimating gains and conducting the economic analysis of the SEP CONGO airport depot in Goma, continues a research effort aimed at modernizing and optimizing the petroleum logistics chain in a complex operational context. It provides decision‑support tools to rigorously quantify the expected benefits of the recommendations, based on operational evidence from the MVP pilot, and proposes robust scenarios tested by sensitivity analysis. The volume emphasizes that optimization depends as much on processes, data, and tools as on the people who implement them, and shows that significant improvement is achievable through simple, realistic actions monitored by reliable indicators. Dedicated to the memory of Jacques Shamavu Murabazi, it thanks the operational teams and offers a reproducible methodology adapted to African realities to sustainably transform the Goma depot and strengthen performance, cost control, and operational quality.
