Celem niniejszej pracy jest opracowanie i ocena odpowiedniej matrycy polimerowego filmu transdermalnego Olmesartan Medoxomil przy użyciu dwóch różnych kombinacji polimerów: Eudragit RL 100 (E RL 100) i Hydroxyl Propyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC). Parametry preformulacji oceniano pod kątem ich przydatności do formulacji transdermalnego filmu polimerowego. Transdermalny film polimerowy został z powodzeniem przygotowany i poddany krytycznym badaniom. Parametr oceny, takie jak FTIR do jego zgodności leku z polimerem, skaningowej mikroskopii elektronowej (SEM) zdjęcia przygotowanej folii zostały podjęte, aby zobaczyć wzór dystrybucji leku, badania fizyczne, w tym zawartość wilgoci, absorpcja wilgoci, płaskość do badania stabilności preparatów i In vitro badanie przenikania jest prowadzone w zmodyfikowanej komórki dyfuzji Franza przy użyciu błony skóry szczura i membrany celofanowej. Uzyskane wyniki potwierdzają, że jest on zgodny z wymaganiami specyfikacji lub zgłoszonymi metodami. Na podstawie powyższych obserwacji można stwierdzić, że polimery E RL 100 i HPMC są najbardziej odpowiednimi polimerami do opracowania TDDS dla Olmesartan Medoxomil.
