Unvollkommene Lesungen ... Noch mehr Kritik kamvon den Zeitungen. 1989 begann ich mit einer literarischen Kolumne im Jornal de Santa Catarina (JSC-Blumenau) in meiner Heimatstadt. Von März bis Dezember desselben Jahres hieß die Kolumne Tudo Pelo Textual , denn in jenen Monaten beherrschte das Motto des brasilianischen Präsidenten José Sarney tudo pelo social (alles für das Soziale) das soziale Gefüge unseres Landes. Deshalb wurde das Wortspiel zwischen dem Titel der Kolumne und dem sozialen Ziel des Präsidenten ironisch bekräftigt. Von Januar bis Mai 1990 änderte die Kolumne ihren Namen. Sie wurde in 90 itLetras umbenannt. Sie war ein Verweis und eine Hommage an die 1990er Jahre und die literarische Produktion des Jahrzehnts. In der Zeitungskolumne konzentrierte sich meine - unvollkommene - Lektüre und Kritik auf die lokale, nationale und internationale Literatur.
