Wybrzeże Kości Słoniowej nie jest wyjątkiem pod względem dostępu kobiet do usług bankowych i włączenia finansowego. Pomimo wysiłków rządu w latach 2017-2021, '...wskaźnik włączenia finansowego wzrósł o 10 punktów procentowych, osiągając 51% w 2021 r. w porównaniu z 41% w 2017 r.'. W 2017 r. wskaźnik włączenia finansowego wynosił 47% dla mężczyzn i 36% dla kobiet, z różnicą 11 punktów procentowych między obiema płciami. Do 2021 r. wskaźnik włączenia finansowego wzrósł do 64% dla mężczyzn i 37% dla kobiet, a różnica ta wzrosła do 27 punktów procentowych... '*. Sytuacja kobiet nie poprawiła się w porównaniu z mężczyznami. Co więcej, ubóstwo wśród kobiet wzrasta na obszarach wiejskich i podmiejskich, a jego wskaźnik wynosi około 75%. Ta 'feminizacja ubóstwa' wynika z wielu czynników, w tym ograniczonego dostępu kobiet do zasobów, edukacji i zatrudnienia, a także powszechności przemocy i nierówności płci.
