While speed is the number one cause of car accidents in the United States, government corruption is at the root of why speeders speed. Laws are no good if the police are not going to enforce them. There is no finer example of this corruption than what happened to me on the night of March 5, 2022. But that all depends on who you believe, what you believe, and how good you can process information. At around 9:30pm, I was ran over by a pretty little girl named Zoey King. Or so she claims. Her brother was in the car and it was his car. Witnesses said they switched places after the accident. At any rate, the police knew the little girl and her family. She was 18 and they did not want to get her into trouble, so they blamed me for the accident. One of the cops, a real skirt chaser, went out of his way to fabricate evidence, alter facts, and actively coverup for the girl he had the hots for. She could do no wrong. Zoey King and her brother, Jacob King, both claimed that she had almost completely stopped before hitting me. Almost stopped? I had broke my skull in two places, my right eye shattered into three pieces, my right arm was broke, my right shoulder was broke, my left foot was broke, my back was broken in two places, my neck was broke, I had 2nd and 3rd degree road rash all over my body from sliding on the asphalt, and both adrenal glands were hemorrhaging. I almost died. Almost stopped? The number one cop claimed that I was drunk and just nonchalantly stepped out in front of poor Zoey. He was playing the odds. 68yo man barhopping on a Saturday night...he had to be drunk. I was tested at two hospitals, blood and urine, no trace of either alcohol or drugs! Drunk? But they were not done framing me for Zoey’s recklessness. She hit me at more than double the legal speed limit. But it was my fault. Because the police believed the pretty little thing, nobody administered first aid. No ambulance was summoned for 15 minutes. Though I was only 1/2 mile from the hospital, it took 45 minutes for me to get there. It is only by the grace of God that I did not die. The worst part is not that I lost an eye and continue to suffer from pain and broken bones, the worst part is that I cannot get an attorney to sue them. The reason will shock you. This should not be happening in America, but it is. And I’m pissed.
