The skills gap in many high school graduates contributes to the talent pipeline deficit in post-secondary destinations. Traditional public high schools can solve the challenge by emphasizing a variety of pathways to success. All students deserve intentional, acute and unique preparation and plans for post-secondary enrollment, enlistment or employment pathways. Personalized learning pathways for all students will not materialize as mere substitution, augmentation, or modification of the status quo. Rather, it will be a complete overhaul...a true redefinition of traditional public high school education.This is not a book just for education professionals. The intended audience is anyone (teachers, parents, employers, lawmakers...) with a stake in relevant high school education. The comprehensive discussion guide can influence and energize local stakeholders. The tide is rising with wave after wave of alternative educational options crashing ashore. Now is the time to reimagine traditional public high schools to ensure their place in 21st and 22nd Century relevance and personalization.
