Shortly after his graduation from Georgia Tech, he was married and began his professional career as an advertising executive, developing his creative skills as a copywriter and sales executive. After over thirty years in advertising, he experienced a complete career change and became a Chair Caning and Furniture Restoration Craftsman, a business he continues after nearly twenty years as a bi-vocational Minister of Music. Since the loss of his first wife, Lyn, to cancer in 2010, he was blessed with his marriage to his wife, Joyce in 2012. Since their move from Atlanta to Knoxville in 2020, his activities have included various ministries in both local and foreign missions.
