Des militaires de l’armée régulière du Soudan du Sud, estimés à environ 150 hommes, avaient infiltré aux dates des 5, 6 et 7 Aout 2024 le centre commercial KAMERU 2 en chefferie de KALIKO OMI dans le territoire d’Aru. Dans cette même perspective, ils ont tiré plusieurs coups de feu en l’air, créant une panique généralisé dans cette perspective dans le milieu. Ces militaires de l’armée régulière du Soudan du Sud ont arrêté, pendant ces trois jours, au moins 11 personnes, dont 2 congolais et 7 réfugiés du Soudan du Sud. Ces congolais et réfugies sudsoudanais arrêtés ont été libérés quelques heures plutard.
