Der Erwerb des Lesens ist ein wesentlicher Aspekt der Bildung. Es ist eine wichtige Gelegenheit, ein hohes Maß an Selbstständigkeit und Disziplin in jedem Menschen zu erlernen Ravil (2017). Es ist das Rückgrat der Bildung und die Quelle für lebenslanges Lernen. Es öffnet das Unsichtbare und trägt zu neuen Einsichten und zum Lernen des Lesers bei. Es versorgt den Menschen mit verschiedenen Arten von Informationen, die er in seinem täglichen Leben nutzen kann.Daher ist das Lesen ein sehr notwendiges Element im Leben eines Kindes, das es nutzt, um wesentliches Wissen über die Welt, in der es lebt, zu entdecken. Das Lesen ist jedoch eine Sache, die dem Säugling angeboren ist. Da das Kind von der Schule, die für die formale Bildung des Kindes verantwortlich ist, unterrichtet wird, ist es eine Sammlung von Fähigkeiten, die sich schließlich entwickelt. Aber nicht alle Lernenden können sich an die Programme und Interventionen im Bereich des Lesens anpassen. Schüler mit besonderen Bedürfnissen werden trotz vieler Interventionen und Programme weiterhin Schwierigkeiten beim Lesen haben, wie Justice & Kaderavek (2013) feststellen.
