Les déchets de construction représentent environ 45 % des déchets solides produits quotidiennement dans la municipalité de Tupã-SP. Ils se composent de pierres, de sable, de béton, de bois, de céramique, de briques, de tuiles, de peinture, en d’autres termes, de matériaux provenant de la construction, de la rénovation et de la démolition. L’élimination irrégulière des RCC dans les municipalités brésiliennes a de graves répercussions sur l’environnement, d’où la nécessité d’étudier les moyens de minimiser ces répercussions dues à une élimination incorrecte. Dans cette optique, cette étude vise à réaliser une enquête bibliographique sur la gestion des déchets de construction dans la municipalité de Tupã-SP. Les archives des organes de l’administration municipale qui gèrent les déchets de construction et de démolition (CDW) ont été consultées, la législation municipale pertinente a été recherchée, ainsi que la manière dont ces déchets sont gérés, la loi de l’État 12.300/2006, qui établit la politique de l’État en matière de déchets solides et la résolution CONAMA 307/2002, ainsi que les maillons de la chaîne de production et la destination finale de ces déchets.
