Este artigo é um estudo experimental sobre a 'Relação entre o conhecimento morfo-sintático explícito e implícito em aprendentes de alemão como língua estrangeira: uma investigação sobre o uso da congruência sujeito-verbo'. Este estudo investiga se os aprendentes de alemão como língua estrangeira usam os seus conhecimentos linguísticos explícitos onde é suposto usá-los. Este estudo centra-se em três questões principais. Para responder a estas questões, 42 alunos do nível 3 do Departamento de Alemão da Universidade de Yaoundé I fizeram dois testes diferentes: um para avaliar o seu conhecimento explícito e outro para testar a sua capacidade de usar o seu conhecimento explícito da congruência sujeito-verbo. Os resultados das análises parecem ser parcialmente coerentes com as hipóteses formuladas no início do estudo. Também não mostram qualquer correlação entre o conhecimento explícito e implícito da congruência sujeito-verbo nestes alunos.
