Britain is facing a paradox and an inconsistent, contradictory approach to tackling radicalization, terrorism, foreign espionage networks, and corruption in state institutions. Many inequalities from the past, racist lookout, and discrimination still hurt Britain’s social and political stratification on different levels. The paradox of modern security technology and economic, political, and cultural rebalancing has reached a point of tangible multi-polarity. The global security environment has become more complex as conflicts and civil wars are re-emerging with new approaches, ideologies and modern technologies. Cyber-attacks, hybrid threats, terrorism, and disinformation tactics of Hostile States have intensified in the UK and European Union. The conservative Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, slapped his country on the face and bruised, set alight, crushed and damaged its social and economic infrastructure. The Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Brexit reshaped the UK’s relationship with its largest trading partner, creating trade barriers that didn’t exist. According to the Office for Budget Responsibility, Brexit reduced the UK’s long-term economic output. Economic pressures have created significant inequality, with a stark divide between the wealthy and those struggling to make ends meet. There has been criticism directed at Boris Johnson and the UK government regarding their handling of care homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Allegations included inadequate provision of personal protective equipment (PPE), delayed responses, and discharging hospital patients into care homes without proper testing, which potentially contributed to the virus’s spread among vulnerable residents.
