Boko Haram and AQIM are two terrorist groups active in the Sahel, financed by drug trafficking, kidnapping and donations. Judicial investigations require specialized techniques, such as intelligence analysis and international cooperation. Police cooperation is essential in the fight against these groups, with joint operations and information sharing between Sahel countries and international organizations. The main objective is to combat terrorism in the Sahel by strengthening the capabilities of local security forces, promoting regional and international cooperation, and supporting economic and social development efforts. This requires a comprehensive and coordinated approach, involving security forces, local communities and international organizations, to guarantee the region’s security and stability.
