Where and when did our 360° system of metrology originate? Sumerian mythology records that we were given the knowledge by the ’Gods’, while the Abrahamic scriptures declare it came from the ’Watchers’, neither of which are entirely satisfactory answers. The term Zep-Tepi is associated with the ’First Time’ when the ’Builder Gods’ occupied pre-dynastic Egypt and this same expression was interpreted by Wallace Budge as ’The Merging of Time and Space’, offering the possibility that it actually referred to a working system of metrology. This fascinating book combines ancient Egyptian and Sumerian mythologies with the Abrahamic scriptures creating a single narrative which offers a new perspective on the original motivation and function of the Giza pyramids. Follow the author on a journey which reveals the presence of an ancient system of metrology tracing from the first Axis Mundi at Giza/Heliopolis back to the megalithic culture at Göbekli Tepe - later home to the Biblical patriarchs. In addition to revealing an apparent use of longitude and latitude long before the Greeks this book explores other topics such as the idea that Nimrod, Narmer and Etana were records of the same person, the timing of the Biblical patriarchs to the Sothic and Zodiac cycles, the relationship between Giza and Göbekli Tepe and the enduring question of an Egyptian influence at Baalbek.
