In dieser Masterarbeit, die 2013 verteidigt wurde, führt die Autorin vier Kurzgeschichten aus Marina Colasantis Der Leopard ist ein zartes Tier auf: 'Das Mädchen in Rot auf dem Weg zum Mond'; 'Der Leopard ist ein zartes Tier'; 'Die Spielregeln' und 'Ohne zu knien'. Die Geschichten stellen Übergangsriten in unterschiedlichen Kontexten dar, obwohl sie dieselbe metamorphische Dynamik haben, die durch Übergänge gekennzeichnet ist, denn es gibt eine Entsprechung zwischen den verschiedenen Arten des Übergangs: von der Dunkelheit zum Licht, von der Präexistenz eines Menschengeschlechts zur Manifestation (mythischer Vorfahr), vom Leben zum Tod und der neuen postmortalen Erfahrung (die Seele). Die Erzählungen stellen Figuren vor, die sich in Übergangssituationen befinden, in denen es zu Brüchen kommt und die sie zu einer bedeutenden existenziellen Veränderung führen. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es daher, die Darstellung von Riten in einer zeitgenössischen und weiblichen Erzählung zu untersuchen, die sich auf zeitgenössische Theoretiker wie Giorgio Agamben und Judith Butler und andere stützt.
