Won by One is the evangelistic book of an author who has been leading people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ since 1970. His desire to spread the gospel (good news) of Christ has taken him to far-off and distant places and just next door. In this book he reveals not only the one-by-one approach to evangelism, but that God seeks individuals from all races, cultures, and people groups. This biblical search was inspired by verses in Revelation about a day coming when all God’s children will gather around the Throne of the Almighty: 'And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation. . . . After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands' (Revelation 5:9, 7:9). The words 'every' and 'all' mean group will be left out. Won by One offers fifty illustrations of different biblical races which God lead or from which God directed another individual to bring a representative of a race into the family of God. This is why the Lord has tarried all these years: to reach the last people group with the gospel!
