Where did he come from? What happened to him after he returned from his second trip to Africa? And, how come nobody has ever heard of him? The first book, Into the Dark Unknown, is the explorer’s report. The second book, They Called Me ’Demba Creecy’, is the hunter’s report. This book is the journalist’s report. In it you will read actual 1900-1901 newspaper reports about America’s celebrated explorer and discover why the book about his explorations and discoveries was never completed and why his name never went into the world’s history books where it rightfully belongs.
