Although the title says, 'Where’s the Yellow River?' there’s more to this book than the Yellow River. It goes through the physical geography of China: its major rivers, deserts, and mountains. Included are stories of people who lived and traveled in different parts of the country. There’s also a glossary with geographical vocabulary in both English hand Chinese, maps, pictures, drawings, and more. This book should help your family learn about geography in general as well as the geography of China. The lessons are short, designed for one to two pages per lesson and there are some hands on ideas to learn about geography. This books is great for the primary school level.
