In den letzten Jahren hat die Entwicklung und Verstädterung in Delhi zu einer Zunahme der Luftverschmutzung geführt. Dies hat zu Studien und Forschungen in diesem Bereich geführt. Data Mining wird eingesetzt, um die bestehenden Trends der Luftverschmutzung in Delhi zu analysieren und Vorhersagen für die Zukunft zu treffen. Die verwendeten Data-Mining-Techniken sind lineare Regression und Multilayer Percep- tron. Es gibt Trends bei verschiedenen Luftschadstoffen wie Schwefeldioxid (SO2), Stickstoffdioxid (NO2), Feinstaub (PM), Kohlenmonoxid (CO) und Ozon (O3). Anhand der oben genannten Techniken lässt sich feststellen, dass die PM10-Menge in den kommenden Jahren um 45,9 Prozent ansteigen wird.
