Virtual reality is basically an artificial environment which is created with the help of software and presented to the user in such a way that the user gets convinced and accepts it as a real environment. The aim of this book is to give an elucidative account on the modern applications, advancements and trends of virtual reality technologies in the disciplines of pedagogy, psychology and medicine. Analyses reflect that individuals in educational as well as in the medical therapeutic domains have increasing expectations that present-day media be employed in the corresponding demand and supply systems.
