Christian Felix Weiße und die Aufklärung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit soll durch einen Vergleich der Brüderpaare, deren Konflikt die beiden hier zu untersuchenden Werke dominiert sowie weiterer Charaktere in Friedrich Maximilian Klingers „Die Zwillinge' (1776) und Christian Felix Weißes „Atreus und Thyest' (1766) der Versuch einer epochalen Einordnung von Weißes „Atreus und Thyest' unternommen werden. Denn so sicher die literaturwissenschaftliche Forschung Klingers „Die Zwillinge' dem Sturm und Drang zuordnet, so strittig bleibt bis heute eine zeitliche Periodisierung von Weißes „Atreus und Thyest'.
