A tuberculose mamária é uma forma rara de tuberculose extra-pulmonar, mesmo em regiões endémicas, representando apenas 0,06% a 0,1% de todos os casos de tuberculose. É frequentemente confundida com um tumor maligno, devido às suas semelhanças clínicas e radiológicas, e afecta principalmente mulheres em idade fértil. O diagnóstico baseia-se em provas bacteriológicas e histopatológicas e o tratamento baseia-se principalmente em medicamentos anti-tuberculose. Por vezes é necessário recorrer à cirurgia.Foi efectuada uma revisão da literatura utilizando as bases de dados PubMed, Google Scholar e Web of Science. Os termos de pesquisa utilizados foram 'tuberculosis' e 'breast', e foram incluídos estudos publicados até 2023 em inglês e francês.
