Washington - Melchizedek
Treasury of the Poor, Where there is no vision, the people perish, has been a long time in the making. Through my life experience, I have found my occupation accompanied by struggle. As a child, my talent was expressed in art. I was a child prodigy and believe that every child is born with a God given talent and a measure of faith, which needs to be discovered and nurtured in a healthy environment. Every child should be positively encouraged and motivated to become a productive citizen in their community and beyond. In my faith, we believe that we can overcome the adversary through testimony of the goodness and faithfulness of God. By using photography and playwriting as a new platform I can defend myself, promote good, and positive aspects of my faith and my art and overcome my poverty. I view my photography and playwritings as Pastoral Genre or God within the environment where my purpose is to revive an old language and vocabulary, and preserve my Christian faith. My interests focus particularly on costume, architecture, decorative arts, and landscape. I draw upon my art studies, work experiences, and museum visits at some of the finest museums such as: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Louvre, Muse d’ O'rsay, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, The Montreal Museum of Fine Art, and my exposure to some of the many awe inspiring artworks throughout the timeline.
