Young violinist Thomas is practicing hard for his music school’s spring concert, but one difficult passage just won’t cooperate. With the windows open to the warm air, he worries everyone can hear his mistakes-especially the master violinist who lives across the courtyard and plays with breathtaking beauty. Then, one day, something magical happens: the master’s violin answers Thomas from the balcony, and it feels as if the two instruments begin to 'talk' across the courtyard.
