The Tuat is on one hand the journey to the light from the darkness literally and metaphorically (ignorance, corruption, war, the S Nation, etc.) Iswande, Netchem, Meri Sa Aunghk and Kling Saa knit their way through time dimension from the ancient cities of Om (Ta Ra), Anu and Uast, to the contemporary Birmingham. Conversely, The Tuat is also about the light of Kalakun, the magic of Bambalasaam, the wisdom teachings of Ptah Hetep between the dream and waking worlds through which these characters traverse time to identify with their divine selves (Ausar) becoming the Pert Em Heru, the Awaken Ones.
