Depression isn’t something that be should be taken lightly. Regardless how minor or severe it may be, it can feel like it lasts for a lifetime. Whether your depression stems from an injury, a traumatic event, being bullied, or even addiction, a common denominator I found in these different struggles is feeling alone. For me, my struggle began after I sustained a life changing injury. My entire world was turned upside down. I felt like everything was taken away from me. Regardless of how much love and support I received from loved ones, I still felt aone. I was having a hard time finding my voice and opening up about things. With there being so many of us out there struggling with depression, and feeling lost and confused, it’s why I decided to share my story. I hope I can provide you with some support and help you find your voice while dealing with your struggles. But most importantly, to let you know that you are not alone!
