How often do you get to revisit your days from your first year as nurse? Or your proudest moment at work? This is a first of its kind guided journal specially created for nurses. It’s a pathway for most cherished memories from nursing school, to a nurse’s first job and rich experiences from day-to-day life as a nurse. Who is that one patient you will never forget? Can you share a special memory from your first nursing job? Who had the greatest influence in your nursing career? These are just some of the writing prompts in the guided journal. Many of these stories, nurses do not get to share with others. Through guided reflection prompts, the journal takes the nurse to a journey of joy, hope, gratitude, pride, and yes, even healing. As a nurse fills-in the pages, a personal legacy unfolds. The journal is organized into the special phases of a nurse’s professional career such as nursing school, first nursing job, your nursing career, you and your patients, and aspirations. It has also special sections on courage, resilience, joy, and gratitude.
