Their otherworldly origins, and the knowledge they imparted, led Burgoyne to immigrate to the United States. He founded the Hermetic Brotherhood of Luxor, and his publications on subjects of the occult and the spiritual blossomed to achieve substantial recognition. He died in 1894, aged only thirty-nine.
