1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.১:১ আদিতে ঈশ্বৰে আকাশ আৰু পৃথিৱী সৃষ্টি কৰিছিল।1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.১:২ আৰু পৃথিবী আকৃতিহীন আৰু শূন্য আছিল; আৰু গভীৰৰ মুখত আন্ধাৰ আছিল। আৰু ঈশ্বৰৰ আত্মা জলবোৰৰ ওপৰত গতি কৰিলে।1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.১:৩ তেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰে ক’লে, 'পোহৰ হওক;1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.১:৪ ঈশ্বৰে পোহৰক ভাল বুলি দেখিলে আৰু ঈশ্বৰে পোহৰক আন্ধাৰৰ পৰা বিভাজিত কৰিলে।1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.১:৫ ঈশ্বৰে পোহৰক দিন বুলি ক’লে আৰু আন্ধাৰক ৰাতি বুলি ক’লে। আৰু সন্ধিয়া আৰু ৰাতিপুৱা প্ৰথম দিন আছিল।
