But she won’t let him have it unless he first accompanies her to a premier of her latest film for reasons that seem...well, quite odd. Adam has to agree, because if he does not get the book, he’ll lose a job he loves...even as his world crashes into a chaotic mix of a too-cool henna artist, her demon toddler, her fan-boy husband, a protective mother, a drill-sergeant stylist, very questionable edibles, two mistaken identities, hysterical fans, Hollywood royalty, their courtiers and minions, maniacal LA drivers, an outlandish party, a drowning pool in the middle of Beverly Hills, a love-struck panther on a homemade veldt, 50 cans of salmon, a bubble bath...and the terrifying realization he’s falling in love with a woman every man in the world desires and whom he knows he cannot trust...and could never love him back.
