Kkay overheard her mother talking on the phone one day and created the story of Teeth in Your Ears to explain what she believes she her mother to say. Although not always right, Kkay knows what she thinks she heard and understands it. Kkay would say "I'm this many," holding up her left hand and right hand pointing finger. Yes she can count and knows exactly how many that is. Kkay knows everything because she is six years old. Kkay lives with her Mother, Father, brothers Victor and Ralph in Hawaii. Kkay is the middle child.  At this time in her life her youngest brother Jacob hasn't been born. Her Father is a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy and is gone a lot. Her Mother cares for her and her brothers. Kkay doesn't miss much, she knows exactly where babies come from; they picked her brother Ralph up at the hospital. Strong willed, she knows what she believes and will argue the point with anyone who disagrees with her.  Karen Woodall’s future books include stories are about her Mother's magical bedtime powers, Santa Clause liking buttermilk, her friend Patricia the Fisha, what it’s like to have a cotton candy kind of day and more.
