Heute gibt es mehrere Methoden zur Reinigung von Erdgas von Schwefelverbindungen, wobei Absorptions- und Adsorptionsmethoden in der Industrie am weitesten verbreitet sind. Die praktische Anwendung der Absorptions-Desorptions-Technologie zur Reinigung des Erdgases von den genannten aggressiven Komponenten führte zu einem positiven Ergebnis. Als Absorptionsmittel werden 25-30%ige wässrige Lösungen von Ethanolaminen (Diethanolamin (DEA), Methyldiethanolamin (MDEA), usw.) verwendet. Gegenwärtig werden 25-30% DEA und MDEA im Prozess der Erdgasreinigung in den gasverarbeitenden Unternehmen unserer Republik eingesetzt: LLC 'Muborak GKIZ', LLC 'Shortanneftegaz', LLC 'Shortan gas chemical complex', Kandym GPP, Ustyurt gas chemical complex verwenden wässrige Lösungen.
