Ce livre vise à démontrer les différentes étapes du calcul de la charge de résistance à la compression en utilisant la norme brésilienne NBR 8800 (2008) et la norme européenne Eurocode 3 (2010) en utilisant comme exemple un hangar industriel en structure acier. L’utilisation de programmes de modélisation et de calcul structurel est de la plus haute importance, car ils permettent l’application de diverses charges et la modification des variables de calcul, étant fondamentaux pour projeter la situation réelle qu’est le projet et adopter le dimensionnement correct des structures en acier sans générer de coûts inutiles et en visant toujours l’agilité et la sécurité du projet.
