Bonnie Kaye, M.Ed. is an internationally acclaimed counseling expert and author in the field of straight/gay marriages. It is estimated in the United States that there are over four million women who unknowingly married a gay man. She works with women from their initial discovery about their husbands’ homosexuality throughout their recovery through her writings, radio shows, and support network. As with her previous two Straight Wives, Shattered Lives anthologies released in 2006 and 2010, in this new book women from around the world tell their stories of how they married a man out of love and hope only to find that their lives became shattered after learning why their marriages were filled with abuse, lies, and confusion - namely the homosexuality of their husbands who felt 'trapped' in the marriages that they created.
