For more than 20 years she plied the waters between Britain, India and Australia before coming to grief in 1888 with the loss of 18 lives. Her loss on Friday, July 13th 1888 left many unanswered questions, including just who was aboard the ÔStar of GreeceÕ and what happened to the men and boys on that fateful night over one hundred and twenty years ago. Here now is the updated edition with new research and photographs to commemorate the loss of the clipper ship Star of Greece, and the deaths of 18 men and boys off Lion Head, Port Willunga.
