Cette étude rétrospective de 11 ans révèle une prévalence de 13% de Staphylococcus aureus au CHU de Monastir, avec une forte résistance à la pénicilline (96,4%) et à la méthicilline (18,6%). La résistance augmente pour certaines classes d’antibiotiques, notamment les glycopeptides, malgré une prévalence modérée de souches SARM. Les résultats soulignent la nécessité de renforcer l’hygiène et d’optimiser les prescriptions d’antibiotiques.
