A love story between Layla, a Lebanese Christian girl, and Fadi, a Moslem man, takes place amidst the horrible Lebanese civil war. Their love develops despite the bitter hatred and animosity present all around them. They are separated from each other as Fadi becomes radicalized and Layla cares for her injured brother. After surviving many dangers and bloody battles, Fadi finally finds the peace and redemption he was seeking as his life is saved by an old Christian woman. But where is Layla? Had she survived the war? How can he face her again after all the killing he had done? Would she be willing to forgive?
