Elizabeth Tebby Germaine
An adorable little spider tells an amazing story. We see how terrifying his life can be and watch as he practises his web building skills. One day he wanders off by himself never dreaming that he would spin such an enormous web. It’s a good thing he’s a fast worker. And what REALLY happens next? We get drawn into his world and will never again shout and frighten him away! He is a real Sir Vivor. A spider’s web is a wonder of the world. This book was inspired by a real event when the author saw a truly enormous spider’s web constructed between a window sill and a garden bin. It was impossible to convey the size of this on the page. Since writing the story she has felt differently about the spiders she occasionally meets around the house and garden. While combining writing and artistic skills she was challenged by the fact that a book published through the author friendly system of FeedaRead can only contain black and white illustrations. 3
