Multiple Sclerosis is a devastating disease that affects not only the one who suffers with the disease, but also their family and other relationships leaving the patient feeling depressed and without hope. If the disease is disclosed, many churches, secular corporations, and other types of employment may reject the person’s application because of the potential cost and medical care needed. Dr. Harville was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis in 2008 and has experienced the obstacles described above. This book provides a model that will serve as a motivational tool to help all those who suffer with Multiple Sclerosis to use the disability for God’s glory. Pastors, missionaries, and others with the disease were interviewed and the results were used to show how they turned the obstacles into opportunities while serving. All responses were analyzed in light of God’s Word. The book provides tools that will help the MS sufferer develop an appropriate exercise program, proper diet, devotional Scripture verses, and other motivational tools to help eliminate the potential relapses of the disease.
