What is Life Force? What animates us, makes us appear bigger than we are, more than the sum of our physical parts?Is it consciousness, awareness of self, place, time and purpose?Does it arise from within, or penetrate from without? Is it simply dynamism?Is it evident in the ability to break through, invent, create and explore?Is it courage? The courage to trust one’s own instincts?Is it tied to our ability to procreate, to live with another, build a family, a nation?Can we bequeath it to machines with Artificial Intelligence? Do we want to? Is it ours to bequeath? To bequeath only as a gift with our DNA? Or a gift to keep?Why do most people believe in an external presence, in a soul? Is the Soul the Life Force? Are they synonymous? Do they exist?Do we just give names to things that we don’t understand, that don’t exist?Were the Ancients just extrapolating from imperfect knowledge? Is the Scientific Method perfect? Valid? Hypothesis? Theory? Fact? If we can’t prove existence of an entity, does that mean it doesn’t exist?What is thinking? Merely synapses firing? Something more?Why do we realize how fragile and small people were when we see their lifeless bodies after death?What is death? The absence of life? When does life cease? Why do we die?
