Seasons of Empire

By the time the Baby Boomers arrived on the scene, the United States and Soviet Union were already bristling with missiles and nuclear armaments and fighting to dominate the world. It was that fight that dominated the Baby Boomer generation as it grew to adulthood, and even when it ended, the fight remained. New combatants emerged, and the battle for world dominance continued. But no matter the combatants, the Baby Boomers were on the front lines. It defined them then, and no matter the enemies, it defines them still. It’s become their battle now, and it’s to tell their story as only one who got sucked into the vortex, spun ’round and ’round, and spit out again can tell it that Seasons of Empire was written. No matter which side they were on, it’s their story. And more. So much more.
