Questo studio analizza la costruzione letteraria dello spazio. In particolare, si analizza la costruzione artistica della città e i mezzi utilizzati per darle una grande rilevanza nel testo. A tal fine, abbiamo scelto l’opera dello scrittore argentino Jorge Luis Borges, pubblicata negli anni Venti e Trenta. Abbiamo anche analizzato come Vitor Ramil (lettore e ammiratore di Borges) costruisce il proprio Satolep a partire dalla città di Pelotas. Per questa analisi abbiamo utilizzato i suoi romanzi che tematizzano la città: Pequod (1999) e Satolep (2008).
