The words of Buddha Avatar and Jagat Guru Shankaracharya Puri Mahabhag emphasize the importance of contributing to the local temple or society for the prosperity of both the temple and the community. It is essential to dedicate at least one hour each day to the local temple and donate one rupee daily to the temple or society trust. Furthermore, if one is capable, they should contribute 10 rupees for 9 other families who are unable to do so. By doing this, not only will the temple thrive, but the entire local monastery will become stronger and prosperous. The temples and monasteries were originally built by the local community, who donated land, built the structures, and managed the institutions. Similarly, over 90% of schools, colleges, and institutions, which are based on Macaulay’s educational system and influenced by the church, were initially established and run by local people, who also taught the Ramayana and Gita. However, due to the influence of flawed constitutional terms, the system has been corrupted by greedy political workers, who now directly collect taxes from the people under the guise of social welfare. These political workers spend money without acknowledging those who originally built the temples, schools, colleges, and institutions. In some parts of the country, teams linked to political workers are in a state of despair. To change the situation in the country, it is necessary to restore the original intent of community-driven welfare and self-reliance.
