Gli attinobatteri, microrganismi Gram-positivi presenti in vari ambienti, sono noti per la produzione di metaboliti secondari ed esoenzimi con potenziale biotecnologico. I rizobatteri, presenti in simbiosi con le leguminose, trasformano l’azoto atmosferico in ammoniaca, facilitando la crescita delle piante. Questo studio ha co-inoculato ceppi di entrambi i gruppi batterici isolati dalla regione semiarida del nord-est per indagare l’influenza degli attinobatteri sulla crescita dei rizobi. Sono stati selezionati dieci ceppi di attinobatteri e sette di rizobatteri, caratterizzati morfologicamente e sottoposti a coinoculo in terreni di coltura. La crescita dei rizobatteri è stata valutata e ha mostrato un’interazione positiva, suggerendo che gli esoenzimi degli attinobatteri facilitano il metabolismo di substrati complessi da parte dei rizobatteri. Questa promettente interazione potrebbe portare allo sviluppo di nuovi bioinoculanti per promuovere la crescita delle piante.
