Lo studio ha avuto come obiettivo l’isolamento e l’identificazione di batteri aerobi da ulcere del piede diabetico in pazienti diabetici e l’indagine sulla resistenza dei batteri agli agenti antibiotici. P. aeruginosa ha mostrato vari livelli di resistenza a: ceftriaxone, cefoxitina e cefepime con una percentuale del 100%; tobramicina, ciproflaxcina e levofloxacina con una percentuale del 41,1%; ticarclina con clavulalnica ac.1%); ticarclina con acido clavulalnico, piperaclina, ceftazidima, amikacina con percentuale (35,2%); aztreonam con percentuale (47,5); meropenem e imipenem con percentuale (23,5%). Gli isolati di B. cepacia hanno mostrato un alto livello di resistenza a tutte le classi di antibiotici β-lattamici, tra cui ceftriaxone, cefoxitina e cefepime, con una percentuale del 100%; ticarclina con acido clavulalnico, piperaciclina, ceftazidima, tobramicina, ciproflaxcina e levofloxacina con una percentuale dell’87,5%; aztreonam e aztreonam con una percentuale del 47,5%; meropenem e imipem con una percentuale del 23,5%.5%); aztreonam e amikacina con una percentuale del 62,5%; meropenem, imipenem e gentamicina con una percentuale del 37,5%. Gli isolati di P. aerginosa presentavano il gene blaOXA (47,1%) e il gene blaCTX-M (58,8%); tutti gli isolati di P. aeruginosa sono risultati negativi ai geni blaIMP e blaKPC e l’analisi PCR ha mostrato che il gene integrone era (94,1%).
