I was born in late 1952 in the small city of Clarksburg, West Virginia. This little book offers my reflections on my life - mostly the first twenty years or so of it. Memories of small town childhood mix with thoughts on the intruding world: the sweet scent of bakery cakes and fears prompted by the Cuban Missile Crisis are both here, as I remembered them. The sunny ’50s and the turbulent ’60s are here, but only as I saw them. I write a bit of poetry and light fiction. My sister suggested I write the story of my life. This is the result.
