Der rapid wachsende Fahrzeugbestand in der VR China ist nicht nur ein Indikator des Wirtschaftswachstums, sondern auch ein zukünftiges sekundäres Rohstoffpotenzial aus Altfahrzeugen. Diese Arbeit beschreibt derzeitige gesetzliche Rahmenbedingungen und gibt einen Überblick über die chinesische Altfahrzeugbehandlung. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wird die Gesetzgebung zur Kreislauf- und Abfallwirtschaft, insbesondere in der Altfahrzeugverwertung in der VR China untersucht und mit den gesetzlichen Vorgaben und Systemen in Deutschland verglichen. Außerdem sollen der Stand der Altfahrzeugverwertung in der VR China und die Absatzkanäle einiger wichtiger Fraktionen aus der Verwertung ermittelt werden.
