O objectivo deste estudo foi avaliar e comparar o efeito da remoção e retenção da camada de esfregaço utilizando duas soluções diferentes de irrigação final sobre a resistência ao deslocamento de um cimento selador à base de silicato de cálcio - CeraSeal, em comparação com um selador à base de resina epoxídica - AH Plus.Os resultados mostraram que a remoção da camada de esfregaço melhorou o POBS de um selador enquanto que agiu negativamente para outro. Por conseguinte, é importante saber se a remoção da camada de esfregaço deve ser feita para uma categoria específica de seladores.
