Even if you project that trend in 2018 ten times, that would only be 40%. Not good odds. Leading cause: Incompetence, 46%. The number one reason a “startup” small business fails in the first year is a lack of understanding what it takes mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially to survive and thrive.Ask trusted sources, people who have “been there and done that,” to share their experiences. Keep in mind that you will be putting your future, family, and finances at risk.
