This research effort focuses on study recycling of used engines oils by solvent extraction / adsorption treatment methods. Also, focuses on comparative study of two type of adsorpent, activated alumina and activated clay.In this work, the recovery of base oil by solvent extraction and adsorption on solids was evaluated experimentally with different solvent mixtures (A,B&C) at different ratios (1:1 ,1:3 &1:5).The physico chemical properties of used oil and all refined oil samples were carried out according to the standard test method ASTM and/or IP.
